3.5 Gallon Fat Bob gas tank sets for Panhead models 1948-65. Features provisions to accept early caps, shut off rod and two or three light dash. Does not include tank emblem mounts.
Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. The shut off opening should be masked or plugged during painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer.
All tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height.
